Moore still eyes play-off spot

Tranmere Rovers boss Ronnie Moore believes his side can still challenge for a play-off place, despite a disappointing goalless draw at lowly Brighton & Hove Albion.

The result left Rovers four points adrift of the top six, but Moore refused to be too downbeat about the prospects.

He told the Daily Post: "It is still all to play for. I know our closest rivals won, but it's not the end of the world.

"Who is to say what is going to happen next? We have both Leeds and Scunthorpe to play away from home.

"With six games to go and 18 points at stake we are still in there with a chance.

"Our home form is excellent and our away form is getting better. We have to stay positive and stay bright."
