Tranmere Rovers manager Ronnie Moore is already planning for next season, even though he is unsure whether he will still be at the club in August.

Rovers flirted with the League One play-offs before eventually finishing ninth, while Moore's two-year Prenton Park contract is about to expire.

The club is reportedly on the verge of being taken over, but Moore said: "In this game, as a manager, you don't really get involved in what goes on off the pitch.

"It's my job to get the lads out on to the pitch to get the goals and I'm already working on plans for next season."
