Moore hints at changes

Tranmere Rovers manager Ronnie Moore hinted he will consider strengthening his attacking options after Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat by Morecambe.

The League Two new boys have already accounted for two Championship sides in the Carling Cup this season and added the scalp of Rovers to their collection after a 1-0 victory at Prenton Park.

"We huffed and puffed and never really created a chance," Moore told the club's official website.

"We're lacking a bit up front at the moment. We got to the edge of their area and made the wrong decisions and then we got caught with a sucker punch from our corner.

"When you're playing against a 4-5-1 you don't lose the game.

"The worst result for us would have been going to penalties. We should be winning these type of games here."
