    Moore gets his man

    16 Nov 2007 - 13:54:02

Tranmere Rovers have completed the signing of youngster Andrew Taylor from Blackburn on a month's loan.

The 21-year-old full-back has yet to make his senior debut for Mark Hughes' men but is seen as a hot prospect for the future.

Rovers manager Ronnie Moore told the club's official website: "This is a great signing for the club. Andy is a talented attacking left-back who we've been monitoring for some time.

"He's a great prospect who is very good on the ball and likes to get forward. He's played at this level before, so he has good experience for his age."

Since January 2006, Taylor has been on four separate loan spells, making 20 career appearances for QPR, Blackpool, Crewe Alexandra and Huddersfield Town. He has also been capped for England at Under-19 and Under-20 level.

Taylor is eligible for Saturday's match against Doncaster Rovers and has also been given permission to play in the FA Cup second round tie against Bradford City.
