Moore brings in teenager Mayor

Tranmere Rovers have signed Preston North End teenager Danny Mayor on a month's loan.

The 18-year-old winger only recently singed professional forms at Deepdale and has yet to make his first-team debut for the Lilywhites.

Rovers boss Ronnie Moore told the club's official website: "I've watched Danny on several occasions, including our reserve match against Preston last week when he was outstanding.

"He's a hard-working winger who can go past people and has a trick up his sleeve.

"I'd like to thank Preston manager Alan Irvine for allowing him to come to us for a month."
