Tranmere Rovers boss Brian Little has blasted talk that Gareth Roberts could be set for a move to Hull, but hopes to extend the loan deal of Simon Francis.
The Tigers are keen to land Roberts and according to reports they have already failed with one bid in the region of £50,000.
Despite the talk, Little says the Welshman is still a Rovers player and is going nowhere for now.
"At this moment in time Gareth is my player and I'd like him to remain my player," Little revealed. "I've spoken to Gareth and he just wants to play football."
Little is also set to extend a loan deal for Francis into a third month following talks with Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock.
"I have spoken to Neil Warnock and we have a verbal agreement that should everything be ticking along as it is now, he will spend a third and final month with us," he added.
