Seven inches of snow is currently covering the Boundary Park pitch and more snow has been predicted to fall. And although rain is forecast for Christmas Day, the thaw could leave the playing surface waterlogged. Latics groundsman Lee Williams said: "The Boxing Day game is now in the lap of the gods. "We will do everything possible to get the game on but in reality it is out of our hands."
