Tranmere Rovers boss John Barnes is happy to have finally secured the services of Grenada striker Kithson Bain.
The 27-year-old will arrive at Prenton Park and Barnes is expecting big things from the frontman, once he has reached full match fitness.
He told the Daily Post: "Kithson is a big, powerful, fast player who I was impressed with during my time as Jamaica manager.
"I'm excited about bringing him in because we have Caribbean players in the UK like Ian Goodison here at Tranmere, Damion Stewart at QPR and Claude Davis, who was at Preston and Derby, who have adapted very well.
"Kithson will add some strength to the squad, but if we are hoping for him to come in and win us the league then we are in a bad way.
"We need the big players here, players who want to make an impression because we have a young, inexperienced squad."
