Barnes calls for calm from Rovers

Barnes has come under increased scrutiny in the wake of his side's dismal run of form which has seen them lose eight of their 11 League One outings this season. Rovers fans called for Barnes' head during Tuesday's defeat at Bury in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Barnes said: "The only way we are going to get out of this is to stick together and keep trying. "I can't fault the lads for their effort and commitment but we do need to play with more understanding and composure."
