Wood to start after Grandison exit

Tranmere boss Les Parry will be without Jermaine Grandison for the visit of Brighton. The young defender picked up an injury just before half-time during the 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers and has since returned to his parent club Coventry for treatment, cutting short his loan deal at Prenton Park. Nick Wood is likely to fill the void following his solid second-half performance in midweek, while on-loan Derby man Arnaud Mendy is set to continue in midfield after extending his loan spell by another two months. But Parry will continue to be without the likes of Gunnar Nielsen, Marlon Broomes, Ash Taylor, Liam Darville and Alan Mahon, who are yet to recover from injuries.
