Welsh looking to bed in quickly
Rovers signed the midfielder on a two-year contract from Hull on Monday, shortly after the recent arrivals of McLaren and Mahon from Bradford and Burnley respectively.
Welsh said: "The manager has brought in a couple of very good players and I'm sure we'll all settle in very quickly.
"That settling-in period is crucial because the start of the season isn't far away now."
