Power surges back into Rovers squad

Key midfielder Max Power will be back in Tranmere's squad against Hartlepool, whose manager Ronnie Moore returns to Prenton Park.

Power missed last Saturday's 3-0 win over Accrington because of illness but he, and fellow midfielder Marc Laird (head), have been declared fit by boss Micky Adams.

Jennison Myrie-Williams also comes into Adams' thinking after joining on loan from Scunthorpe this week.

However, defender Marcus Holness (knee) remains absent for Rovers, who are unbeaten in three in Sky Bet League Two.

Hartlepool manager Moore will select his starting line-up from an unchanged squad.

Moore has no new injury or suspension problems, but could be tempted to make one or two changes following last week's defeat at Shrewsbury.

Striker Scott Fenwick is pushing for a recall, while midfield trio Brad Walker, Lewis Hawkins and Nicky Featherstone are also in contention.

Tommy Miller (calf) and Stuart Parnaby (knee) remain sidelined as bottom club Pools chase their third league win on the road this season.
