Injuries hamper Rovers Tranmere are without Jake Jervis against Doncaster as boss Ronnie Moore juggles injury problems in attack. Jervis opened the scoring in Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Bournemouth - Rovers' first loss this term - but later sustained an ankle injury that will keep him out for a fortnight. Birmingham loanee Jervis joins fellow forward Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro (broken metatarsal) on the sidelines. The shortfall may force Moore to hand starts to Joe Thompson and Andy Robinson. Thompson suffered swelling around his ankle after being on the receiving end of a robust challenge in the 3-2 comeback win over Yeovil nine days ago and only appeared as a late substitute at Dean Court. Robinson has been out of action with a hamstring strain for three weeks but Moore confirmed he is fit to feature against Dean Saunders' men. Doncaster have included new signing Andy Griffin in their squad. The defender has joined Rovers on non-contract terms and is available to make his debut, and his first competitive appearance in almost 10 months, against Ronnie Moore's side. Doncaster manager Dean Saunders will be without Shelton Martis, who is suffering with a calf injury. Martis was substituted early in the second half of Saturday's 2-1 home victory against Brentford, and will be sidelined for a minimum of two weeks. Defenders Paul Quinn (hip) and James Husband (hamstring) will be hoping to prove their fitness. Jamie McCombe will definitely miss the game as he continues his recovery from a long-term thigh problem which is expected to keep him out of action for three to four weeks.
