The 33-year-old striker netted a sublime 16th-minute volley for the only goal of the game as Rovers leapfrogged fellow strugglers Wycombe in the League One relegation zone.[LNB]Michael Ricketts' header from Paul McLaren's corner hit a defender and looped out into the path of Thomas-Moore, who blasted an angled 12-yard rocket into the far top corner for his fourth goal of the season.[LNB]Wycombe rallied and striker Jon-Paul Pittman was twice narrowly off target, while his 10-yard header from Stuart Green's corner was tipped over the bar by goalkeeper Luke Daniels on the stroke of half-time.[LNB]The hosts piled forward after the break but Chris Zebroski headed over Craig Woodman's free-kick and then had a shot cleared off the line.[LNB]Matt Phillips also belted a 22-yard volley just wide for the hosts, while Ricketts almost doubled Tranmere's lead on the counter-attack when he headed Chris Shuker's cross against the bar in the 72nd minute.[LNB][LNB]
