Rovers get Goodison back on park

Tranmere boss Les Parry is boosted by the return of defender Ian Goodison for the home clash with Brentford. The veteran Jamaica international missed last weekend`s defeat at Southampton through suspension but could make an immediate return to the starting line-up. Rovers are still hit hard by injury and rookie midfielder Joss Labadie, a regular in Parry's starting line-up this season, faces a lay-off of several weeks after sustaining ankle ligament damage. Ian Thomas-Moore, Marlon Broomes, Adam McGurk and Liam Darville are all back in training after spells on the sidelines. However, Ash Taylor, Alan Mahon and Arnaud Mendy remain sidelined and on-loan Manchester City goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen is expected to be unavailable for a further three weeks. Parry hopes to extend Peter Gulacsi's loan from Liverpool as a result.
