Rovers boss targets Championship

Rovers spent three consecutive seasons in what is now the Coca-Cola Championship during the 90s and Moore believes that feat could yet be repeated by his play-off chasing side. He told the Coca-Cola Football League Podcast: "You'd like to think it is. They're your aims and they're your targets. "It's a little bit more difficult now, there's no doubt about that. Peter Johnson was a Chairman waving a lot of money about but I think those days have gone. "You have got to dream that it can still happen. We had five Wembley appearances in that time; two in the play-offs, two in the Leyland-DAF and we had this Mercantile Classic thing that was on for the first six sides in the Second Division. "We were playing against your Liverpool's and your Newcastle's and I even had a game in that so that wasn't too bad."
