Rovers beaten at Altrincham
A young Tranmere side continued their pre-season preparations with a disappointing 3-2 defeat at Altrincham.
Trialist Steve Connor and defender Zoumana Bakayogo gave Rovers a two-goal lead but they were undone by three goals in nine minutes by the non-league side.
Rovers will send a full first-team squad to face Shrewsbury on Saturday.
