Ricketts leaves Prenton Park
The striker initially joined the League One outfit on a one-year deal back in August but made just eight starts for the club and has not been in Rovers' starting line-up since November.[LNB]Manager Les Parry said: "Michael's chances of starting matches here have been restricted by the form of Ian Thomas-Moore, Craig Curran, Terry Gornell and Chris Shuker.[LNB]"At this stage of his career Michael felt that he needed to play regular first-team football so we've decided to give him the chance to join another club where he will get an opportunity to play.[LNB]"During his time at the club Michael has been a valuable member of the squad and has conducted himself professionally at all times.
