Penalty woe for Rovers boss Moore

04 March 2009 13:06
Referee Carl Boyeson awarded a spot-kick after Lewis Guy went down in the area in a tangle with Antony Kay nine minutes from time. Moore said: "He's made a mistake, it's as simple as that. "The Hartlepool players apologised to our players - even they didn't think it was a spot-kick. But the ref makes the decisions, and he's got it wrong. It was a difficult game for everybody out there in a strong wind and rain. "But our team worked hard enough to deserve something, then that happens. One day we'll play badly and come away winning 2-0, but this was another result that got away. "The annoying thing is that it was totally out of our hands. The result was decided by a refereeing mistake when we deserved at least a draw."
