Parry waiting on duo

Tranmere boss Les Parry will check on the fitness of goalkeeper Tony Warner and winger Andy Robinson ahead of the home clash with Bristol Rovers. Both players picked up knocks during Saturday's 1-1 draw at Charlton and will be assessed closer to kick-off. Warner sustained a thigh strain and Robinson picked up a groin injury, leaving Parry facing a nervous wait over their availability. Ash Taylor also picked up a knock at The Valley but it is unlikely to rule the midfielder out the clash with Dave Penney's men. However, highly-rated rookie striker Dale Jennings will miss out again with a groin injury. Parry said: "He's the type of player who needs to feel he's right so we're going to rest him for a few days before we push him on again."
