Parry unfazed by fixture congestion

Tranmere boss Les Parry is not overly concerned about a potential fixture backlog. Rovers have lost two games to the big freeze in the last month - Exeter and Swindon away - but Parry is not worried. He told the club`s official website: "The potential for losing more games is there because we're not in the traditional period when games are called off yet and there have already been quite a few games off. "The good thing is all teams are in the same boat. It's when you've got six and seven games in hand on everybody, a bit like Rotherham last year, that it becomes difficult with two games a week."
