Parry states case for defence

Rovers had full-back Zoumana Bakayogo sent off for a second bookable foul in injury-time but even that could not dampen the enthusiasm of Parry, who revealed he was confident that his side would not concede.[LNB]"It was a fantastic result for us against a decent side who have been in good form," he said. "It was a bit like the Alamo in the second half and I lost count of how many corners Bristol had.[LNB]"But our centre-backs Ian Goodison and Chris McCready kept heading them away and our goalkeeper didn't have to make too many saves.[LNB]"I knew Zoumana was going to be red-carded when he made that challenge late in the game. He never makes bad tackles, but can sometimes be guilty of awkward ones.[LNB]"We were running on empty in the second half after some tough games recently. But I never felt we were going to concede and that's why I didn't make any substitutions."[LNB][LNB]
