Parry seeks improvement

Boss Les Parry insists Tranmere can ill afford to lose many more games against other teams towards the bottom of League One. Rovers replaced Brentford at the foot of the table following the Bees` 3-0 win at Prenton Park. Parry said: "The manner of the defeat was very disappointing. We gave away bad goals and we were always chasing the game. "These are the games we have to win if we are going to hold our own in the division. The young lads tried hard but we need more experience in the side. We need to get some of our injured players back in as soon as possible." Parry added: "It was a frustrating day for us and I don't blame the fans for having a go. What they saw was not up to standard. They have a right to see something half decent and didn't. "It is never easy looking up from the bottom of the table and we have got to do much better in our next game and move up the table as quickly as possible."
