Parry pleased by rallying Rovers

Rovers had failed to register a shot on target before Sam Sodje, playing for the first time since completing a four-match ban, turned the ball into his own net early in the second half.[LNB]However Charlton captain Nicky Bailey levelled the score in the 59th minute when he poked the ball in after Deon Burton had headed a corner towards goal in the 59th minute.[LNB]"The lads closed everything down and defended really well. I was a bit worried in the first 15 minutes because that was the worst I've seen our centre backs Ian Goodison and Ash Taylor play in the opening of a match but I had a go at them at half time and by the end I thought we defended brilliantly," said Parry.[LNB]"We're still disappointed not to win. Even in the first half when they were on top we played the game how we wanted to, created some chances and killed the crowd.[LNB]"The last few chances in stoppage time went to Charlton and because we kept those out there is a little bit of relief that tempers the euphoria of thinking we should have won."[LNB][LNB]
