Parry happy with Rovers return

The hosts created the better chances in a scrappy encounter but Rovers held firm to claim a valuable share of the spoils.[LNB]Parry said: "I would have loved to win but if we had taken nothing from the game we would have been seven points adrift of Oldham.[LNB]"The number one priority had to be that we did not get beaten. I know that sounds negative but that's the way it is, I'm afraid, because we could not afford to lose.[LNB]"It's vital to take points against the teams around you and we showed some good defending to get in a few important blocks. The quality of the game was not good and you could see both sides had not played for a while.[LNB]"At times it was mistake after mistake after mistake but we have come away with a point and a clean sheet. I was disappointed with the second-half because at half-time we said we would win if we kept playing to the same standard. Our fans were shouting for me to make changes in the second-half but we would have taken a 0-0 draw beforehand."[LNB][LNB]
