Parry checks on keeper

Tranmere boss Les Parry will check on the fitness of goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen ahead of the home clash with Bournemouth. Nielsen, on a six-month loan from Manchester City, played in the opening-day defeat against Oldham but then sustained a thigh injury during international duty with the Faroe Islands. He is looking to be passed fit for this weekend but Joe Collister, 18, will hope to retain his place after keeping a clean sheet in last Saturday`s goalless draw at Huddersfield. Parry, who has no other major concerns, said: "Gunnar is heads and tails for the weekend, so we're a bit unsure about whether he's available. "But Joe has played 180 minutes and if he doesn't play on Saturday he will be very unfortunate."
