Parry calls for unbeaten run

Tranmere boss Les Parry has urged his side to embark on a run of matches unbeaten as they seek to avoid another season of struggle. Rovers, who narrowly avoided the drop last season, lie third bottom ahead of Saturday's visit of basement outfit Brentford. Parry admits his side must make their home advantage pay at the weekend and is hoping a positive result can kick-start an unbeaten run. "There's only six points between the relegation and play-offs so it is compact," said Parry. "We need results on the bounce. "To go three or four games unbeaten and pick up two or three wins in that would put us right in the middle of the table and we can go on from there."
