Morrow lands at Rovers

Tranmere have completed the signing of Coleraine striker Sam Morrow for a nominal fee, subject to international clearance. The Derry-born 25-year old joined Ipswich in 2001 and signed for Scottish Premier League side Hibernian three years later. He was set to sign for QPR in 2006 but the move was hit by injury and he went on to join Derry City a year later. Morrow left Derry in January to sign for Coleraine and joined Rovers on trial last week. Manager Les Parry said: "I'm delighted to bring Sam to the club as I've been following him for a while. "He's a classy striker who knows where the goal is. He has a good attitude, is keen to do well and will be a great addition to our squad." Morrow will be available for Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at home to Accrington if international clearance is received in time.
