After enjoying a successful trial period, the Pakistan international looked set to pen a one-month contract with the League Two club on Thursday with a mystery sponsor believed to be paying the midfielder's wages.[LNB]However, chairman Bill Bratt has revealed Rovers are now keen for the 24-year-old to remain at Vale Park for a three-month period - something that has thrown a spanner in the works due to the club's tight finances.[LNB]Bratt told The Sentinel: "We asked for Adnan to come on a one-month deal but Tranmere now want him to come for three months and he hasn't signed yet.[LNB]"It's the same with every signing in that we are trying to stick to our set budget.[LNB]"At the moment I'm not confident he will sign, although we may be able to reach a compromise. For instance, if they were willing to pay for half his wages then we would have the money to do that."[LNB][LNB]
