Injury woe for Rovers

Tranmere boss Les Parry has several injury concerns ahead of the visit of Peterborough. Midfielder John Welsh was withdrawn at half-time during Tuesday`s Johnstone`s Paint Trophy clash with Accrington with a calf problem and could be out for a number of weeks. Parry used three loan players and a trio of recent signings against John Coleman`s side while eight injured senior players watched from the sidelines. The long casualty list includes striker Ian Thomas-Moore, who is set to remain at Prenton Park despite being heavily linked with a move to Rotherham. Parry said: "The issue of Ian's move is dead now and I think he will be here for the rest of the season." Coventry defender Jermaine Grandison and Derby midfielder Arnaud Mendy, signed on loan earlier in the week, are set to make their league debuts.
