Duo doubts for Rovers
Tranmere boss Les Parry could be without strikers Enoch Showunmi and Ian Thomas-Moore for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy northern semi-final at home to Huddersfield.
Showunmi sustained a dead leg and Thomas-Moore picked up a calf injury during Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Leyton Orient and are rated as doubtful.
Parry said: "It turns out Enoch's was a dead leg but it is just above the knee. Ian Thomas-Moore's calf is more of a concern."
Several of Rovers' injured players are approaching full fitness again but the clash against Lee Clark's side may come too soon for them.
Parry added: "We've got to gamble with some of the subs who will be on the bench simply because they haven't played so long."
