Decision was right - Parry

Tranmere boss Les Parry felt it was the right decision to postpone Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Area semi-final against Huddersfield. Freezing temperatures left the Prenton Park playing surface unsafe for action and Parry admitted the weather has done him no favours. He said: "When you look at the pitch most of it wasn't just a superficial frost, it was really deep. "It plays havoc with our week. I was keen for us to play, we've got Joss (Labadie) who is suspended so that was going to be one of his games gone. "Looking at the weather we're going to be [training] inside today (Wednesday) and looking at the forecast we're going to be inside Thursday and Friday as well. It really messes us around, so we're going to have to try and get an outdoor full-size astro-turf we can use."
