Cathalina given run out

Tranmere defender Tim Cathalina is set to step up his comeback from injury by playing in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Liverpool on Tuesday. The right-back has been sidelined since early January but is on the verge of regaining full fitness. Rovers boss Les Parry will also use the game to assess two trialists. He said: "Tim Cathalina will play so hopefully he'll be okay. "We've got two trialists to look at, a centre-back and a midfielder. "So it's handy for that and you don't mind playing the senior pros as it's on a good surface against good players. It'll be a good workout for them."
