Barnes, who has seen his side lose six of their opening seven games this season, has signed the winger on a short-term contract until January.

The Frenchman, 27, was a free agent having seen his four-month deal with Brighton expire at the end of last season.

Goalkeeper Luke Daniels, who is on a season-long loan from West Brom, is facing a race to be fit after he sustained a knee injury during last weekend's 3-2 loss at home to Walsall.

Joe Collister replaced him for the second half and could be asked to deputise if Daniels is not passed fit.

Defender Shaleum Logan is available again after a one-match ban but striker Bas Savage (Achilles) remains a long-term absentee.
