Broomes out for three months
Tranmere defender Marlon Broomes could miss the remainder of the season after snapping his medial cruciate ligament.
The defender had a scan on his injury earlier this week which revealed the extent of the damage.
Manager Les Parry said: "It looks like Marlon will be out for the rest of the season. He might well get back just before the end but the surgeon is talking about three months.
"He's snapped his medial ligament on his knee, so he's pulled it off the bone."
