Boss hails Morrow

Tranmere boss Les Parry has paid tribute to striker Sam Morrow ahead of Saturday's trip to Notts County. Morrow could be looking for a fourth senior start of the season in the League One encounter at Meadow Lane. The 25-year-old came off the bench in last weekend's 1-0 home win against Plymouth, and Parry said: "Sam is trying to condition himself to League One football. The pace and the work expectations of League One football are high. "I thought Sam did well when he came on against Plymouth. He tired a little towards the end, which is to be expected. "I thought he looked like a footballer. He has a good touch, a good brain. He almost sealed the win for us with a second goal right at the end."
