Barnes happy to silence critics

Rovers leapfrogged Wycombe to go third from bottom of League One after a 1-0 victory at Adams Park courtesy of Ian Thomas-Moore's sublime 16th-minute volley. Barnes urged the Rovers faithful to keep supporting the team, instead of calling for his head. "I would say to the fans thank you for not booing me, because we won, but thank you for encouraging the team," said the former England international. "I can't really be affected by the boos because I'm standing on the side but I think the players can. I think they should really get behind the players, like they did. I don't take the boos personally, and I still won't take the cheers personally."
