Barnes calls for Rovers consistency

A brace for Ian Thomas-Moore and goals from John Welsh and Terry Gornell secured the points in Saturday's League One clash, but Rovers were made to work hard by the Gills, who hit back through Curtis Weston and Andy Barcham. And Barnes wants to see more consistency from his side. "It was nice to get four of the six goals in what was a very exciting game and overall I cannot complain," said the former England winger. "But I would like to perform more consistently over the 90 minutes which we did not do. "We knew it was going to be a tough game so I have got to be pleased with the outcome. We must have belief in the way we play and I am confident we are heading in the right direction."
