Barnes boosted by battling point
Rovers' John Welsh netted from close range in the 35th minute at Prenton Park on Saturday after a fierce strike by Marlon Broomes was only parried by keeper Ben Williams.[LNB]But Colchester earned a share of the spoils when they equalised two minutes later through John-Joe O'Toole.[LNB]Barnes said: "I was pleased with the point after such a poor run. They were big and strong and physical and we stood up to the test. It was our best performance for some time.[LNB]"It became a real battle in the second half and it would have been nice if we could have got all three points.[LNB]"We haven't turned the corner yet but in terms of confidence it should give us a big boost."[LNB][LNB]
