Tottenham's match-winner Jonathan Woodgate praised manager Juande Ramos after Sunday's dramatic Carling Cup Final success against Chelsea.
Spurs came from behind to beat last season's winners 2-1 after extra-time with Woodgate, who only moved to White Hart Lane from Middlesbrough last month, scoring the crucial goal.
The 28-year-old said after the match: "He's a brilliant manager - he's won trophies in Spain and now he's won a trophy for Tottenham.
"It's a great feeling to win our first trophy as a team - we've got a great team spirit and work ethic.
"Scoring that goal gave me one of the best feelings ever.
"To be honest with you I wasn't planning on going up. It was either me or Ledley King going up to see what we could cause. Jermaine Jenas put a great ball in and I just took a chance.
"Hopefully we can push on from this next year. I came to Tottenham to win trophies and I've done that. Hopefully it isn't going to be the last one."
