Tottenham rule out extra spending

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has revealed that any new signings in the transfer window must be funded by the sale of current members of the squad.At the Annual General Meeting Levy said: "We do not envisage being very active in the transfer window, but will take note of opportunities that arise. "That is with the proviso that we do not envisage any net spending." Skipper Robbie Keane had been linked with Celtic but Levy said there would be "no disruption to the core team."
