Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini to have surgery after motorbike crash

Cudicini, 36, fractured both his wrists and damaged his pelvic when he was involved in a collision with a Ford Fiesta in east London.
The former Chelsea favourite was switch from Whipps Cross Hospital to a private hospital yesterday.

The injuries sustained by Cudicini, who was driving his BMW superbike, were said at the time to be potentially 'life-changing'.
Once he has recovered, Spurs are almost certain to investigate just why he was using such a mode of transport, particularly as he is understood to have been on his way to the club's training headquarters in Chigwell.
