A shocked Redknapp asked Palacios why he hadn't come to him with the news sooner, so that something could be done for him. The player said he had kept the news to himself until then because he didn't want to disturb Redknapp's sleep. Palacios' brother, Edwin Rene, then 15, was kidnapped by armed assailants in October 2007 from his Honduran home and hasn't been seen since. Redknapp said: 'Wilson sat on his own in the lobby of our hotel until 7am before calling me. 'He said he hadn't wanted to wake me up. He is the most respectful lad I have ever met. 'It is unbelievable to think that two things like this can happen to players at our club in little more than a week.'  TOTTENHAM FC: All the latest news from across the webEverton 0 Tottenham 0: Spurs miss chance to nab European spotMilito dreams of England move as Spurs, City and United are linked with transfer battle for Argentina ace
