Spurs and Fulham eye Rochdale's teenage whizkid Craig Dawson

Tottenham and Fulham are lining-up £1million moves for Rochdale's highly-rated central defender Craig Dawson. The Premier League pair have both sent their top scouts to watch the 19-year-old defender with a view to launching a summer move. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp sent Ian Bloomfield to Spotland at the weekend while Roy Hodgson wants the teenager to replace Manchester United-bound Chris Smalling. Wanted: Craig Dawson (scoring) is a target for Fulham and Spurs Dawson has been receiving rave reviews since breaking into the first team at table-topping Rochdale and Swansea have had a £750,000-rated offer turned down.
