Spurs move for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar on hold: AC Milan plan to offload striker to Juventus

Tottenham's hopes of signing Klaas-Jan Huntelaar could be scuppered by AC Milan's plans to use the Holland striker in a mega-swap with Juventus. The Italians are in talks to offer Huntelaar, Massimo Oddo and Mancini in exchange for Christian Poulsen and Mohamed Sissoko, according to Corriere dello Sport. Milan also want Martin Caceres, the Uruguay defender who spent last season on loan at Juventus from Barcelona. Double act: AC Milan want Poulsen (left) and Sissoko Spurs are determined to add a world class centre forward this summer and have returned to the option of Huntelaar after all but conceding defeat in their bid to sign Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko, who is a Manchester City and Juventus target. Benfica and Napoli are also interested in Huntelaar, but the 26-year-old insists he wants to stay at the San Siro and prove he is no flop. 'I see my name in the Italian newspapers and I don't understand why,' Huntelaar said.  Point to prove: Huntelaar 'I would like to know who has said that I will be sold, because it doesn't seem like anyone from the club has said anything. 'No other club interests me: my agent has never spoken about a transfer and I want to stay at Milan. I will not leave Milan until I have demonstrated my worth.' Tottenham move for Huntelaar and Pienaar as Keane set to join VillaTottenham's Palacios reveals good news for Honduras over leg injuryTOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC
