Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a bye into the last 16 of the UEFA Cup due to the expulsion of Dutch side Feyenoord from the competition.
Spurs have been handed a free passage due to crowd disturbances at the Rotterdam club's clash with Nancy earlier in the competition, with the game in France held up for several minutes before ending 3-0 to the home side.
A short statement from UEFA read: "UEFA's Appeals Body have decided to exclude Feyenoord from the UEFA Cup following crowd disturbances by fans of the Dutch side at the group stage match against AS Nancy-Lorraine in France on November 30."
A statement on Spurs' official club website added: "We have been advised by UEFA that we have received a bye through to the UEFA Cup Round of 16 following the exclusion of opponents Feyenoord from the competition.
"The decision taken by UEFA is subject to a possible appeal by Feyenoord to the Court of Arbitration of Sport."
