Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Scotland international full-back Alan Hutton from Rangers.
The 23-year-old becomes the third new player to arrive at White Hart Lane during the current transfer window, following Middlesbrough defender Jonathan Woodgate and Chris Gunter from Cardiff City.
Hutton is believed to have cost the north London club around £8million.
"We are delighted to announce we have reached agreement with Glasgow Rangers for the transfer of Alan Hutton," read a brief statement from Spurs.
The arrival of Hutton brings to an end a four-week saga for Spurs, after they originally held talks with the right-sided defender at the beginning of the month.
Hutton originally decided to stay in Scotland before the move was resurrected earlier this week.
Speaking on Tuesday, Rangers boss Walter Smith backed Hutton to make an impact on the Premier League.
"I am extremely confident he will do well at Tottenham," he said. "He has shown with his performances for Rangers and Scotland how well he can play. It's a terrific buy for Tottenham.
"Everybody at the club, from the chairman down, is disappointed from a football perspective that he's leaving.
"But we all know the reality of the situation is that it's the type of offer we couldn't turn down."
