Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has improved his goalkeeping options by snapping up Chelsea shot-stopper Carlo Cudicini on a free transfer.
The 35-year-old had been Chelsea's second longest-serving player, having been at Stamford Bridge, initially on loan, for almost a decade.
He made 141 Premier League appearances for the Blues but spent most of the last four years on the substitute's bench with Petr Cech the regular first-choice keeper.
Spurs have had their goalkeeping problems this season with Heurelho Gomes' mistakes contributing to their poor start to the campaign.
Redknapp recently brought Ben Alnwick back from his loan spell at Carlisle United and allowed Cesar Sanchez to move to Valencia.
