Ruiz aware of Spurs interest

FC Twente insist Tottenham have not approached them regarding Bryan Ruiz amid claims from the forward that they have spoken to his agent. Ruiz was quoted in the Daily Mail on Monday morning as having said Tottenham have approached his agent and that there was a 50 per cent chance he could leave Twente. However, the club's chairman Joop Munsterman says Tottenham are yet to get in touch. "We still have heard nothing from Tottenham themselves," Munsterman told Voetbal International. "However, we have heard from his representative that there is some interest." If Ruiz were to depart Enschede this summer it would leave Twente with a void to fill in their midfield.
