Redknapp happy with options

Harry Redknapp is confident that Tottenham will be able to cope without a number of injured players against Everton. Aaron Lennon will miss the game at Goodison Park with a groin injury, while a foot problem will keep out Benoit Assou-Ekotto. Didier Zokora, Jamie O'Hara, David Bentley, Michael Dawson and Darren Bent are also sidelined but Redknapp expects those players coming in to perform well. The likes of Alan Hutton, Gareth Bale and Tom Huddlestone could get opportunities and Redknapp has no concerns. He said: "We've got quite a few injuries unfortunately but we've got enough players. "Aaron's groin has been nagging him for weeks and we've been getting him through matches but finally this week he's not going to be fit. "One or two of the lads will come in and it is an opportunity for them. It gives us a chance to look at them." Realistic chanceSpurs are competing with three other teams for the final Europa League place and Redknapp believes it is essential to beat Everton. "We need to win at Everton to have a realistic chance," he said. Redknapp wants to emulate the Toffees next season by challenging the top four in the league, although he is aware of how difficult that would be. "It's possible but it is tough," he said. "You just have to look at three English teams in the semi-finals of the Champions League and Liverpool not making it despite being fantastic. "It shows you how tough it is to break in. Villa and Everton have had a real crack this year but have not been quite able to make it. "You have to keep looking to aim to do it, that is the aim at the start of the year - to see if we can make it into the Champions League."
